Welcome romance readers and writers to Karah's Korner. I hope you'll find this site
interesting and informative. First off, you're probably wondering who I am. My name is Joanna and writing is my
passion. I can't remember a time that I didn't want to be a writer. I've finally decided to make that
dream a reality. For the past year and half I have been writing seriously and researching all aspects
of the publishing industry.
For beginning writers just starting out, the process of both writing and actually getting
published can be daunting. Since I am still in that "beginning" category I will use this site to keep you all
informed about my progress and what I find helpful and useful.
This first step all beginning writers need to take is simple: Write.
Write something everyday, squeeze it in somehow, whether its a few sentences here and there between
cooking dinner and or waiting for the laundry to dry, get something down everyday.
Once you get into a routine, the story process will come naturally. Some people like
to flesh an idea out completely before beginning the first chapter, others write as it comes to them. Myself, I like
to get a general idea of who the characters are, and then I let them run with the story.
